Artemide Tizio – Desk Lamp – by Richard Sapper – 1970’s
This Artemide Tizio Desk Lamp by Richard Sapper was designed for the Italian lighting company Artemide in 1972. The streamlined Tizio works perfectly as a reading light or desk lamp because the light beam can easily be adjusted to any direction.

Despite its small base, the Tizio lamp stands steadily at every angle, thanks to its counterbalanced metal arms.matching its age. Tizio won the Compasso d’Oro design award in 1979 and it belongs to the collections of many museums, such as New York’s MoMA.
